Tools of the trade

Our "tools of the trade" in bindery include a number of different machines:

• Kluge EHD-Plus for foilstamping and embossing
• Kirk-Rudy Wavejet Inkjetter and tabbing machine for mailing
• Sure Feed mail inserter for up to 6 x 9 booklet envelopes.

Distinguishing Marks

There are a few things that distinguish Bison Printing in our finishing department:

• We have a gatefold attachment on our folder, enabling us to automate this pesky task. To the delight of our finishing employees, gone are days of handfolding a gatefolded job.
• We can fugitive glue certain brochures that get mailed. This eliminates the need for tabbing, which saves you time and money. Not every job can be fugitive glued shut. Contact us for tips on how to design your job to take advantage of this service.
• We have an automated glue / fold machine to do large quantities of pocket folders, boxes, mailing envelopes, wraps, CD holders, and other things. For most fold / glue jobs, the necessity of time consuming, expensive handwork is virtually eliminated.
• We can apply peel away adhesive transfer tape to your job -- like you'll find on a FedEx or UPS Next Day Air letter. Great for many different applications. Use your imagination!
